Mother with Sarawak MyKad ‘K’ status or wife of a Sarawakian with MyKad ‘K’ status

Giving birth in Sarawak or outside Sarawak

4.

Application must be made upon 22 weeks of pregnancy and up to 3 months after delivery

(ii) Manual
Permohonan boleh dibuat di:
(a) Pejabat Kebajikan Masyarakat Bahagian/Daerah Negeri Sarawak
(b) Pejabat Daerah Negeri Sarawak

You can apply for Post-Natal Assistance (BIB) every time you give birth with the condition that you must apply within 3 months after giving birth.

Berapakah tempoh bagi memproses permohonan Bantuan Ibu Bersalin (BIB)?

Sekurang-kurangnya 30 hari bekerja tertakluk kepada kelengkapan dokumen yang dihantar kepada KPWK.

Sekiranya saya sudah bersalin, adakah saya masih layak untuk memohon?

Ya, anda masih layak dan hendaklah memohon dalam tempoh 3 bulan selepas anda bersalin.

Adakah saya layak untuk menerima Bantuan Ibu Bersalin (BIB) sekiranya saya mengalami keguguran?

Ya, pemohon layak untuk memohon sekiranya usia kandungan telah mencapai 22 minggu dan ke atas serta mempunyai pengesahan daripada pegawai perubatan.

Sekiranya saya mengalami keguguran sebelum saya mencapai usia 22 minggu, adakah saya layak untuk menerima Bantuan Ibu Bersalin?

Tidak, anda tidak layak kerana usia kandungan tidak mencapai 22 minggu atau lebih.
